June 06-Our season is now at it's end. Hancock County Little League would like to thank all of you that supported us this season especially. It was a tough one but very successful!!! We could not have done it without you! Hope to see you all again for softball season 2007.
Good News!!! Tryouts were a success and the season has began!! Hancock County Little League is in full swing thanks to all the wonderful friends we have met along our way.
Post Katrina Update
Some
news on our friends, many of whom are displaced throughout the
country.
Herb's house was flooded 7 feet-into the second story! It was
demolished.
Sally's house was severely flooded also.
Packer, Patrick and Erika lost their houses completely!
Walter, Frank and Rudy sustained minor to moderate wind or flood
damage.
T.J. and Stacey Cato's home was flooded 8ft and suffered severe
structural damage.
Steve and Renee Jeffreys's home was totally flooded and suffered
lots of wind damage and had to be torn down.
We are all still in the area and intend to continue leading our
league in the interim.
